Johnstones Water Based Satin is an innovative finish that’s suitable for use on interior and exterior wood and metal. It applies like a traditional solvent-based gloss but dries with a look and feel more like a traditional satin finish.

It is low VOC thanks to its water-based formula which also makes it quick drying and low odour, with a tough and durable finish that’s at its best when used over Johnstones Trade Aqua Water Based Undercoat. Available in thousands of colours, it covers around 10-12 square metres per litre, depending on the nature and porosity of the painted surface, and will be re-coatable in normal conditions in under six hours.

Application

For best results, apply a coat of Johnstones Trade Aqua Water Based Undercoat to a clean, dry surface before applying two coats of Johnstones Water Based Satin using a brush, roller or spray.
